ONE — the number of people it takes to make a difference.

Welcome to Sending Hope Ohio

We are changing the world, one action at a time.

Making a difference starts with you.

Who we are

We believe everyone has the ability to change the world.

Sending Hope Ohio was created by four children to help fellow families spread

Hope, Love, and Joy

into our greater Central Ohio communities.

Our mission is to provide families, and their children, easily accessible, age-appropriate community service opportunities to give back to their world — with direct impact on our neighbors and communities.

Ways to give back together

Special Projects

Projects based on a specific, often urgent, need of an individual or family in our community.

Group-led Projects & Events

Monthly projects built around a central theme — tea parties at nursing homes, kindness campaigns, and more.

Tailored for Your Group

Is your classroom, scouting group, or organization looking for a community service project? We can make one for you.

Independent Projects

Want to help your community on your own but not sure where to start? We can point you in the right direction.

Children’s Community Service Parties

Occasionally, the four founding children host community playdates with a service project. Families of all ages 0–99 welcome!

Sending Hope Ohio

For the love of our neighbors

Sending Hope Ohio is not affiliated with any political or faith-based organization. We simply aim to help our children make their world a better place, one step at a time.

New projects each month

Each month, Sending Hope Ohio designs and launches brand-new community service projects and events, based on the individual needs of real people in our communities. Join us in sending new hope every month!

Going Big Places

Our Spring Community Service Social with Denison University was a giant success — eight projects, nearly 200 new friends, and a celebration of how far an idea started around a kitchen table in 2020 has come.

Helping with Empathy

Our special projects stem from the urgent needs of individuals and families facing extraordinary circumstances — from pediatric cancer patients to families navigating bereavement, domestic violence, or sudden house fires.
